Single Parent Ministry

In a day when the ideal can often turn into an ordeal and one's life can at time turn upside down in a matter of weeks, the Single Parent Ministry exists to serve those who find themselves in situations and circumstances that go beyond their control. By providing basic needs for the single parent that they could not provide for themselves, we seek to serve them through the variety of resources of our Bible-believing church community.

Thank you for inquiring about our Single Parent Ministry. At Calvary Chapel we define a single parent as one who has minor children (under the age of 18) still living at home and dependent on for their support.

Vehicle Service Day

• Service days are scheduled quarterly (Feb, May, Aug, and Nov). Service includes oil change and fluid checks.
• If interested, sign up on the response slip in the bulletin when it appears prior to the event.
• Sign up early as we have a limited number of servicing spots.
• We do not do any type of repair. If minor repairs are needed, arrangements can be made through the benevolence ministry.

Financial Counseling

We have volunteer financial counselors available for those who request advice. Available any time through the year.

Family Outings

Please watch the church bulletin for event information and signup for various family activities.

Child Mentoring

We have volunteer mentors available for children ages 6-16. Pick up a mentor application at the receptionist desk.

Christmas Dinner *

This annual event is free for any single parent who is part of our church family at Calvary Chapel.

Fellowship

We encourage single parents to get involved in any of our small group fellowships. You can find additional groups in our Interactive Fellowships brochure in the Lobby info racks.

Engage Truth (college age group)*

for ages 18-24, meets on Sundays at 7:30 pm in the Sanctuary

One 4 Him Singles Group *

for ages 25-34, meets on Sundays at 7 pm in the Youth Building

F.O.C.U.S. Singles Group *

for ages 35 , meets on Fridays at 7 pm in the Preschool Building room 108

Grace for Divorce *

a 10-week class offered through the School of the Bible. Check for upcoming classes in the School of the Bible Brochure.
