Prayer and Praise
A special time for those who want to seek God's best for our fellowship along
with those involved in the various ministries at Calvary Chapel Boise.
"I can see why the Bible says we labor at prayer. This service gives
you practice in actively participating in prayer and praise. This service provides
the opportunity to worship and learn to become one with the mind of Christ
about
the one for whom we pray—to actively share in the unity of the Church
of believers; to encourage, comfort, and learn from one another. I truly believe
you will come to see your mission more clearly. I am learning that as I give
myself in the "work" of worship and prayer I become a more useful
servant
to Christ." —Lynn
When Is Prayer and Praise?
The second Sunday of every month at 5:30 p.m. Child
care is provided.
Where Is Prayer and Praise?
We begin our time in the Lobby. There we give
time for worship, praise, and prayer. We have an open-ended approach during
this time which allows
participants to
lead out in a song of worship, prayer, scripture reading, or a word
of encouragement as we wait upon God. Then we break into smaller prayer groups
which represent
the specific ministry departments. During this time we intercede for
those being served and for those serving in that ministry.
