Welcome to Interactive Fellowships
OUR VISION
Our Home Group/Small Group vision at Calvary Chapel has its foundation in Ephesians 4:12-13 which reads, ""For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ."
As we reflect upon this passage, we begin to realize how much our Lord has given us to do in preparation for His return. Saints have to be equipped, ministry has to be performed, and the body of Christ must be edified, or "built up" in anticipation of our Lord's return for His spotless bride. Accordingly, our interactive home group vision is to:
- Love and encourage individuals to continue strengthening their personal relationship with Christ.
- Establish people in the Word by assisting them in their understanding of the Bible and in the application of spiritual principles.
- Surround believers with a Home Group support structure that is conducive to spiritual growth and effective in addressing personal needs and assisting with personal problems.
- Nurture the growth of spiritual gifts by providing a non-threatening atmosphere in which the exercise (and growth) of gifts can be encouraged and guided.
- Watch to see where God is working and join Him by assisting believers in recognizing the call God has placed upon them and assist them in their preparation for effective ministry and/or service.
- Grow in love, grace, strength, and experience the Lord adding to the church daily as in Acts 2:46-47 and see the multiplication of leaders, teachers, and other Home Groups to meet the needs of a growing church. “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore we pray to the Lord of the harvest to send more laborers into the field.” Matthew 9:36-38
- “So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:46-47
“… ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6
