Family Ministry
May God’s grace be upon you and your family. Family Ministry hopes to provide you with encouragement, information, specific ministry needs, opportunities, and an environment in which your family can grow and prosper in the care and nurture of the Lord and in the wonderful extended family we have in Christ.
No matter the season of life, we have many ministries to help meet your needs, and many opportunities for you to become involved and to add your special gifts to the edification of the body of Christ. It is comforting to know that we can draw upon the experience, love, and grace that others have received and who gladly pass that grace and help along.
We all have needs, and, at the same time, all have something to contribute to the wellbeing of our own families and to the wellbeing others within the body of Christ. We are called to love one another, to care for one another, to help one another, and to serve one another. We are…family.
Goal of Family Ministries:
To equip and encourage our church family with the Biblical approach to marriage, parenting and other relationships.
Current Initiatives:
Marital Discipleship:
Some couples are not thinking so much about enriching their marriage as about how to keep it together. Some of us are experiencing trouble, and we need help the help only God's wisdom can give us with such things as communication skills, conflict resolution, and waning love and commitment. The Marriage Discipleship Ministry is a good place to start. Mentoring couples are available to come alongside you as you seek to restore your relationship.
Pre-Marital Discipleship:
Our premarital discipleship ministry equips you to sucessfully implement God's authority in your marriage. Preparing for a marriage in Chirst is one of the best investment and gift you could give to one another.
Parenting Classes and Resourses:
Parenting is an everyday job with many overwhelming challenges. Our hope is to be a blessing to you by providing beneficial resources.
Divorce Recovery Classes:
Divorce is the end of a relationship. It’s not, however, the end of your life. As devastating as it is, there is hope and help for you during this difficult time. If you are divorced or are going through the process, the temptation might be to withdraw. But we encourage you to seek wise and godly fellowship even more. Now is the time more than ever to be encouraged, supported, understood, and even protected.

Jesus took children and put them on his lap and blessed them. He made them a priority in the busyness of a grown up world. We know God’s heart is for children and strive to come alongside parents in ministry to their kids.
