To Our Church
We would like to invite you to join us as we pray to the Lord of the Harvest to send forth workers into ripened fields. We know that apart from Him we can do nothing, with Him we can accomplish so much, and without love all of it is in vain. We believe that our efforts must begin and then stay grounded in prayer, seeking the love and compassion of Christ which compels us toward the lost of this world. Thank you for taking the time to join us as we fast and pray for Chapel Missions outreaches.
Our Ministry Outreaches
Currently we support 100 churches in India (over 5,000 people) along with 51 pastors and evangelists, eight homes of Hope orphanages caring for 460 children, 46 Children’s Centers reaching out to over 2,000 children every week, and various other outreaches in India including ministries to lepers and those suffering from the effects of HIV/AIDS. We support churches in Stockport, England; Berlin, Germany; Bistrita and Brasov Romania; Rome and Frascati, Italy; and budding outreaches in Iran, the Phillippines, and Mexico. We are seeking the Lord for wisdom and direction regarding new outreaches in Haiti and Holland. All of these efforts are fueledby prayer and funded by likeminded believers and other fellowships from all around the world – a unified work of the Body of Christ.
AMSTERDAM, HOLLAND
The greater Amsterdam area is home to 1.5 million people with over 170 nationalities represented. Our efforts are directed at the heart of the city and the world famous red light district where women are unabashedly displayed in shop windows and where over 300 coffee shops can legally sell 5 grams of marijuana or hashish to customers. As you can imagine, there is both great need and great opportunity for a genuine revelation of God in this place. Just as the apostle Paul focused his efforts to establish a strong church in a similar city, Corinth, we desire to reach this multinational city with the love and hope of Christ.
Prayer Requests
- Please continue to pray for a specific plan to establish a more permanent base of outreach in this strategic city.
- For God to hand pick a ministry leader and team to move to Amsterdam.
- For other like minded pastors and their fellowships to go and/or support this effort.
- For teams of young, serious believers to answer the call to “go” and present the gospel to other young people on the streets of Amsterdam.
- For salvation and protection for those who were introduced to Jesus by the Engage Truth outreach teams in May and June.
BERLIN, GERMANY
Clark and Ann Peddicord and the Haus Nazareth team’s ministry is focused on the professional and academic communities at key universities in Berlin. Modern surveys consistently show that 20-25% of the population in this country is either atheist or agnostic. Only 1.5% of the population in Berlin ever attends church. Our outreach team’s desire is to communicate the message of Christ in such a way that it is once again a real, live option for thinking men and women in Germany and around the world.
Prayer Requests
- For the Haus Nazareth leadership team and student residents to grow in their commitment to pray daily for their city and outreach efforts.
- For American believers to come help reach Berlin universities for Christ.
- For Clark’s speaking engagement with Intervarsity, Campus Crusade, and Students for Christ. For Philosophia Europa outreach to have an impact on student ministries.
- For Clark and Michael’s time of fasting and prayer seeking the Lord’s plan for university outreach and leadership training at Haus Nazareth.
INDIA
While India’s constitution guarantees freedom of religion, Christians continue to be severely persecuted for their faith. While the caste system has been outlawed, millions are outcast due to disease, poverty, and illiteracy. While Hinduism professes more than three million gods, there is no God of salvation or love. As long as these things persist, God’s people will continue to act on behalf of Christ who loves each of the over one billion inhabitants of this nation. We desire to pray for our enemies, bringing love, peace, and hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Church in Focus - Hukkeri
- For strength and growth of the believers in this very anti-Christian area.
- For Pastor Solomon, his family, and the enemies of the gospel who continually harass and threaten Pastor Solomon.
- For the many families infected with HIV that are ministered to – pray for necessary funds for this continual need.
All Churches
- For our pastors as they disciple men and women to step into a servanthood role within their churches and communities.
- For the youth groups of each church to grow in their faith and their knowledge of scripture, compelling them to serve and be a witness within their community.
- For provision for another youth conference in 2011. Three years ago more than 2,000 youth attended.
- For the Leadership Conferences in September that Pastor Bob and Pastor Chet (CC Ft. Lauderdale) will lead. Pray for all to come to a deeper commitment of faith in Christ and in service to Him, and for edification of the church through Spirit-filled teaching, counseling, and fellowship.
MERCY MINISTRIES

- For their children to know that God loves them and that they are not outcasts of His family.
- For the outreach to lepers this September – that they will feel loved, blessed, and encouraged by the team from the US.
HIV-AIDS
- Home of Hope’s Sharon and Muttamma have been sick and hospitalized recently. Pray for a full recovery, growing strength, and protection from HIV developing into AIDS.
- For Mrs. Sangeetha who is now testing negative for HIV after a positive diagnosis. Pray for God’s continued healing in her physical and spiritual life.
- For the child Savi from Koppal who is HIV positive – salvation, healing, and joy.
- For financial provision for support for the continual influx of infected families into our ministry. They have no one else to help them.

- For our pastors who oversee these daily ministries.
- For the children – for the salvation of their families, villages, and nation.
- For sponsors to rise up to commit to pray and support children living in these poor communities.

- For obedience and discipline to be established in their lives at a young age.
- For wisdom for our workers and overseers regarding raising these children for Christ.
- For the children from AIDS families; that the Lord will heal their broken hearts and bind up their wounds – including HIV infection.
- For the Children’s Ministry outreach team from the US going to bless the children with a week-long Bible camp in September.
- For the government of Tamil Nadu to grant two of our homes the proper licensing enabling us to receive discounts on provisions. These homes could be shut down at any time at the whim of local government officials.
Individual Prayer Requests
- Yadagiri Children’s Center – the community is against it. Pray that God gives us favor.
- Yadagiri church – 25 people recently baptized. Pray that God’s Spirit will strengthen and grow these new brothers and sisters of ours.
- For Logamma (80-year-old believer) and Mr. Ramesh who are the only believers in their households. They are being treated as outcasts within their own families.
- For the 10 new marriages in Pastor Guna’s church – that they grow together in Christ.
- Puttur – 300 out of 450 families within the community have accepted Christ. Pray for their continued growth in their love and knowledge of God.
- For Mr. Rajiv and Sister Rekha suffering from tuberculosis.
- For Pastor Navaneeth’s health and leadership of northern India area ministries.
- For Pastor Guna and his sister Shawna (living in Boise). Their mother recently passed away. Pray for comfort and peace as they grieve their loss.
MEXICO
Mexico is a nation steeped in religious superstition. 89% of the population is Catholic, but only 47% actually attend church. The 2008 census reported 7% Protestantism which includes Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witness, and 7th Day Adventisits. There is a great need for biblical Christianity to be taught and modeled in this nation.
Prayer Requests
- That a new work will be established by and through the Holy Spirit’s leading.
- Direction for Julio as he helps oversee and develop a plan for outreach into Mexico.
- For the Calvary Chapel pastors and leaders conference being held July 16-17 in Mexico.
- For God’s provision and direction for the families of Calvary Chapel Boise’s Latino ministry. That His Spirit will be poured out during their times of fellowship.
MIDDLE EAST
According to the Iranian government, in 1995 Iran had at least 60,000 street children. Many other child rights organizations suspect that the current number is substantially higher, citing figures of 200,000 or more. In Tehran alone there are between 35,000 and 50,000 children living on the streets. Many are used by adults to make money and the mortality rate is very high; 100-150 die monthly from malnutrition and criminal activity.
Currently, Saeed is in Iran making arrangements to purchase the land to begin setting up an orphanage for these desperate children.
Prayer Requests
- For wisdom, direction, and protection for Saeed as he makes arrangements for the orphanage.
- For the necessary documentation and swift approval from the government for the orphanage.
- For wisdom as to how to get children safely away from those who abuse them for monetary gain.
- That the Holy Spirit will greatly equip leaders for this ministry to children and that He will financially provide for every aspect of the ministry.
STOCKPORT, ENGLAND
An array of spiritual experiences other than Christianity is being widely experimented with in modern day England such as the occult, paganism, and Wicca. There is also a growing population from the Middle East and Asia bringing Islam and Hinduism into every neighborhood. People tend to think that Christianity is no longer a relevant spiritual option for their lives. We feel that God has given us a wonderful opportunity to share the good news of Christ with the nations right from our own front door.
Prayer Requests
- For a group of non-Christian teens who come to meet every Wednesday night. They are rowdy bunch, but they keep coming back. Pray for relationships and discipleship opportunities to grow.
- For Tuesday morning playgroup for moms and toddlers. About 10 families of all faiths come regularly. Pray for open doors into their hearts and minds through the friendships that are forming.
- For Mark and Renee’s Muslim neighbors – relationship and open doors to share about Christ.
- For the three men being discipled by Pastor Kirk to take over leadership of their growing church. That they would have a heart to serve God’s people and reach the lost in England.
ROME, ITALY
Although Italy is a primarily Catholic country, most have turned to humanistic solutions and atheistic beliefs. Our desire is for the Holy Spirit to powerfully reveal the one, true and living God – Jesus Christ. Located in Tor Bella Monaca, Calvary Chapel Rome is in one of the city’s most troubled neighborhoods. Poverty, crime, drug abuse and alcoholism, and other destructive lifestyles are rampant. What a great place for God to place His people.
Prayer Requests
- For CC Rome to develop its own café outreach in the neighborhood – provision for tables, chairs, espresso machine, etc.
- For this neighborhood outreach to break down walls of division, and for the Holy Spirit to draw people to Jesus through relationship with His people.
- For Brent’s interaction with his new friends at the neighborhood coffee house; Natale, Glauco, Carmine, Daniele, Claudio, Malfisia, Roberto, and Stefano.
- For upcoming outreach events – market evangelism, summer concerts, and barbecues.
- For anointed and prophetic teachings for Pastor Brent to deliver to the church. Recently we have seen several people come to faith in Jesus. At the end of June five people were baptized. Pray for strength and protection as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
- Provision for our food pantry and benevolence ministries – more contact with the poor and needy. Provision for local park reconstruction, playground equipment for the children, protection from vandals.
FRASCOTI, ITALY
Located about 20 km southeast of Rome in the Alban Hills, Frascoti is a beautiful and opulent city. Robert Diamubeni and his wife Chantal live and serve here. Robert has worked alongside Brent in Rome since 2003.
Prayer Requests
- For provision for Robert and Chantal and direction as to their living arrangements. Frascoti is an expensive place to live and Robert has to work part-time in addition to pastoring the church.
- For Chantal who has recently found out that she has a blood platelet disorder. The doctors are baffled. Pray for God’s miraculous healing touch and peace in the process for Chantal and Robert.
- For continued growth in the church and for sound, inspired teaching from Pastor Robert. People are coming to Christ.
ROMANIA
Since the fall of communism in 1989, Romania has struggled to make social and economic progress. The abandonment of children, teen pregnancy and abortion, alcoholism, suicide, crime, and child abuse are everywhere. Chapel Missions missionaries are reaching out through local church planting and discipleship, Biblical teaching in small groups, neighborhood friendship evangelism and relationship building, family center ministry to abandoned children, gypsy village outreach, hospital and orphanage outreach, and English and dance classes for the poor.
Prayer Requests
- For the churches in Brasov, Bistrita, and Bucharest to grow spiritually, developing Romanian leadership through discipleship, mentoring, and the study of God’s word.
- For the missionaries to have the ability to learn and speak Romanian to their friends and neighbors and for the Pastors, Brian, Jamie, and William to be able to teach in fluent Romanian.
- Provisions for Amanda and Faith’s Seed of Hope door-to-door welcome basket ministry. For divine appointments and conversations leading people to Christ.
- For Amanda’s ballet class for the neighborhood children. Provision of dance supplies and opportunities to share about Jesus.
- For Natalie’s English class and her outreach to gypsy children – for divine appointments with parents and those in direct opposition to the gospel, for wisdom and discernment in her conversations with people.
- For William’s Christian media development for the Romanian people and for his ministry to the young men of their fellowship.
- For Chris as he administrates New Beginnings child care facilities – favor with the local government agencies and wisdom on how to train house parents to raise up the children with godly discipline and love.
PHILIPPINES
God has put it on Ryan and Jennifer McDaniel’s hearts to live with the Filipino people. “Our goal is to be part of the tribal church planting efforts in northern Luzon or Mindanao in cooperation with New Tribes Mission and Chapel Missions.” Church planting includes learning the language and culture in order to present clear Biblical teaching. It also involves discipleship of Filipino believers. Ryan and Jen are planning to live in the Philippines beginning in September, 2010
Prayer Requests
- For mature Filipino churches to be established in unreached areas where the gospel is clearly communicated and shared with the lost.
- For provision for every need as the McDaniels prepare to leave the country.
- For their children to thrive while living in the Philippines.
